Over the last ten days, people across America have had their sense of security and safety ripped to shreds. From Las Vegas, to New Orleans and Los Angeles, the people who have been voted and appointed to care and lead our institutions have repeatedly failed to do their job.
Most recently in the Los Angeles fire conflagration, Mayor Bass, a black DEI woman politician, was out of the country on a all expense paid “working” holiday in Ghana, Africa.
Mayor Bass’s lesbian DEI hire Kristin Crowley, has been MIA for the last four days, with over two dozen fires ravaging the LA basin. It was her complete lack of leadership before the fire which allowed the mayor Bass and the city counsel to cut the LAFD budget by $20,000,000 dollars. And now, during this massive fire which has destroyed over a thousand homes from Pasadena in the east, all the way to the start studded community of Malibu on the coast, the usual blame game of whose at fault has already began. Everyone, other than these DEI hires, whose jobs it was to be in charge, are at fault.
Not surprisingly, many on the left are going so far as to blame the imaginary monster of “climate change”, to remove all blame for lack of leadership and experience on the part of their liberal DEI hires. The fact that LA city placed on perm leave 113 skilled firefighters for their refusal to take the Covid jab. Or the fact that Crowley was oblivious to the fact that California Governor Newsom had cut water from the Sacramento river to the LA basin, which helped lead up to all sources of water in the hydrants being depleted after only 24 hours.
Another one of Mayor Bass’s DEI hires is Janisse Quinones, a smiling Puerto Rican, who was in charge of that island’s rebuilding of their energy grid after hurricane Maria hit in 2017. Somehow this DEI hire who took over a year to restore power to the majority of residents of P.R. qualified her to be placed as CEO to the LA County water and power department. If her failed record in P.R. is any indication, residents of LA now without water or power, (or even homes that burnt down due to their not being enough water in the hydrants to put out the fires) are going to have to wait a very long time to ever start living like humans again.
And if the situation in LA were not enough, just nine days earlier, another DEI hire, New Orleans Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick tried to deflect her own culpability in the New Year’s terrorist attack that killed 15 party goers, and injured another 40.
Kirkpatrick, who had previously been fired by the Oakland, California PD for incompetence, was snapped up by the NOPD. One can only imagine that there are so few 63 year old DEI liberal women that are on the job market. It was her complete indifference and inexperience at planning for large events, that led to the safety failure that allowed the terrorist to breach the pedestrian lined streets in the French Quarter.
For the last four years of the Biden/Harris administration, the country has been in grasp of the imaginary benefits of diversity, equity and inclusion hires. We see this in the hiring of two transgender men in the Federal government.
Look no further than Rachel Levine, a man living “as” a woman and appointed as the Assistant Secretary of Health. It was recently discovered that he pushed public and private health agencies to removal all age restrictions for controversial sex changes of minors. These Frankenstein-esque procedures permanently damage the child and can lead to a life time of medical treatments. Yet, Levine was at the forefront, based on his own gender confusion, to ensure that all children have a chance to live their lives fully like he has.
Then there is Sam Briton. A sorry ass excuse for a man, or woman who was appointed to the Nuclear Department of Energy in some low level position.
Turns out, the Biden - Harris administration was so busy trying to fill every position with DEI hires like Sam, they failed to catch the singular fact that he was a complete an utter nut job. Not only did he like to wear women’s clothes, he was completely enthralled with stealing them from real women as well.
Then we have New York City Mayor Adam’s DEI hires. There are so many to pick from. Let’s start with Laura Kavanagh.
Her own Wiki page states.
Laura R. Kavanagh (born 1981 or 1982[2]) is an American government official who served as the 34th commissioner of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). She was first woman to hold the position. Appointed by Mayor Eric Adams on October 27, 2022,[3] Kavanagh oversaw the diversification of the FDNY applicant pool, including graduating the largest group of women in nearly three decades.
She is clearly proud of the work she thinks she did at NYFD. Yet, her Wiki fails to mention from day one of her rein as FD Commis, she gutted out the senior leadership of white men, many of who had over 30 years firefighting experience. (unlike herself) Kavanagh, who had a degree in Political Science, and worked in liberal politician campaigns before her appointment, rocked America’s largest fire department with her own DEI hires. Most of which are still there, since her departure.
Not to be outdone, NYPD has just, in the last week seen high ranking DEI police brass resign in the wake of sexual assault allegations.
My personal favorite DEI hire is New Zealand’s Commander Yvonne Gray. Commander Gray, until recently was in charge of New Zealand’s $150,000,000 dollar ship, the HMNZS Manawanui. Under her fine DEI skill, she plowed the new ship into a reef, where it caught fire and sank. Yep, completely sank under the waves.
I would be a complete fool, to think that only white men can do a job properly. That is a falsehood. But what every community in Western societies is facing, is the fact that traditionally the majority of civil servants where white. But as our communities saw more and more immigration into them. At first, there was bias against people of color entering the rank and file positions. But that was sixty years ago. Now, across America, the UK and western Europe, people of color fill nearly half of all civil service jobs.
There is nothing wrong with this.
What Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion hiring doesn’t take into account, is that what makes a good fire commissioner, is a person working their way up the ranks from firefighting grunt, to engine pump man, to station captain, and then deputy fire chief. A really good fire chief in Los Angeles, knows the limits of the water tanks supplying the hydrants. They know that the Engine companies in Malibu only have a limited number of pumpers, and crews as well as the number of aerials apparatus available per shift.

They know this from having thirty years of hands on experience fighting fires in the county. They know this from countless conversations over coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinners with other fire fighters. They know that from reading reports on past fires.
It has long been said, that it takes three generations of family to make a good coal miner. And it is for exactly that same reason.
One doesn’t just start learning on the first day you are in uniform. You learn to be a coal miner, or fire fighter, or police officer, or soldier by sitting at the dinner table with your mother or father is talking about how they put out a fire in a tallow plant.
Getting more minorities into positions is good. Putting them at the top without earning it, and then expecting them to know what they are doing, if fool hardy.
